Current situation
BCS has developed into an independent and dynamic company. It has acquired its own position in the national and international market for conditioned storage and logistics. In addition, we offer the following services that make BCS the right logistics service provider and partner in the field of conditioned products.
History
Mr J.P. Beemsterboer is the founder of the Holding Beemsterboer. He started trading in seed potatoes at a very young age in 1943. After the war, the company was expanded with the trade in various other agricultural products and in the early 1960s there was a great need for conditioned storage of agricultural products. For this purpose, Koel- en Vrieshuizen J.P.B., the current BCS (Beemsterboer Coldstore Services B.V.) was founded in 1963. BCS has grown steadily but firmly in the following years and currently has a capacity of around 50,000 pallet spaces in conditioned storage.
