Sustainability and CSR

(Inter)national Corporate Social Responsibility is an integral part of the organisation for BCS, a mission with which we want to and can make a contribution to the world. The basis for this is our vision of continuity.
We strive for a sustainable development of our business activities. Sustainable developments in which social, ecological, economic and cultural aspects are in dynamic balance. Within all these topics, BCS conducts policy and, if necessary, makes quarterly evaluations, in order to contribute as much as possible to an optimal balance between people, the environment, the market and society.
BCS has given concrete form to this by:

• installing solar panels for a significant reduction in CO2 emissions
• investing in an automatic cooling system with natural refrigerants and using residual heat for higher energy efficiency
• the application of energy-efficient LED lighting
• adequate training and education for all employees
• policy on all-electric transport

All 982 solar panels have been installed. This generates approximately 250,000 kWh on an annual basis.
