Handling

BCS Coldstore & Logistics can provide various FALL handling activities for you:

  • Handling for entry, storage and removal:
    • Palletising
    • Sorting
    • Banding
    • Wrapping
    • Loading
    • Unloading
    • Packaging
    • Repacking
    • Order picking
    • Loading or unloading on slip sheets
    • Labeling and labeling. This also applies to goods that are subject to customs traffic.
  • Supply of goods can take place via road transport (truck and container).
  • BCS Coldstore & Logistics uses electrically powered internal means of transport to move the goods. This equipment is always in optimal condition due to the maintenance contracts. There is no harmful emission of gases, so your goods do not suffer any loss of quality.
  • BCS Coldstore & Logistics processes all types of goods: packaged and unpackaged, pallets (all types), loose bags and boxes, bulk deliveries etc.

Transport

Inbound Transport

  • BCS Coldstore & Logistics can take care of the national and international road transport of incoming goods to our cold stores, as well as the handling of all associated (inter) national documentation.
  • BCS Coldstore & Logistics can take care of the unloading of containers in the various regional seaports, as well as the transport of these containers to BCS Coldstore & Logistics via road transport. BCS Coldstore & Logistics also handles BLs (Bills of Loading) and related documentation.

Outbound transport

  • BCS Coldstore & Logistics can take care of all types of transport (road, water and air transport), national and international, of outgoing goods, as well as the handling of all associated (inter) national documentation.

Freeze-in

BCS Coldstore & Logistics has two "shock" freezing rooms with a total capacity of 50,000 kg.
Fast freezing can be carried out at a temperature of up to -40° Celsius and at an air speed of ± 100 km/h. Thanks to this fast freezing process, the quality of the product is optimally guaranteed, even with larger volumes.

  • In addition to shock freezing, these freezing rooms are also suitable for:
    •  short-term storage at extremely low temperature (down to -40° Celsius)
    •  the tempering of goods. The goods are heated in a fully controlled manner, taking into account the characteristics of the product.
